Attorney Taylor, a Member of the firm, holds a B.A. from SUNY Binghamton with a major in Economics and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Washington. He received his J.D. from Fordham University School of Law in 1987, where he was a member of the International Law Journal. Prior to joining Rider, Weiner & Frankel, P.C. in 1989, he practiced in New York City in the areas of commercial finance, secured lending and leasing. His principal areas of concentration are municipal law, land use, environmental, condominium, finance and general corporate law.
Mr. Taylor serves as attorney to the Town of Newburgh and additionally represents Town of Highlands. He previously represented the Village of Cornwall-on-Hudson (2008-2010) and the Town of Newburgh Planning Board (1991-1993). He has acted as project attorney for environmental review and zoning on several significant developments in the Hudson Valley including a 45 acre commercial auto auction, a Hudson River waterfront retail center and marina, and facilities for national retailers. Mr. Taylor is a member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Land Trust.
