Deborah I. Weisman-Estis

Ms. Estis is a Member of the law firm. She has been admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey since 1985. Her practice areas include Elder Law, Estate Planning, Guardianship, Probate and Trust Administration, as well as Residential and Commercial Real Estate. Her other court admissions include the Supreme Court of the United States, the United States District Court for the Southern, Eastern and Northern District of New York, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and U.S. Tax Court.

Ms. Estis received her Bachelor of Arts with Honors from Brooklyn College (CUNY) and her Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law. Ms. Estis is the Immediate Past President of the Women’s Bar Association for the State of New York (WBASNY); an organization with over 3,800 members and 18 chapters across the State. She is a member of the Women’s Bar Association of Orange and Sullivan Counties, Mid-Hudson Women's Bar Association, Orange County Bar Association, Hudson Valley Estate Planning Council and the American Bar Association. Ms. Estis is also a founding member of the Women’s Bar Association Foundation of Orange and Sullivan Counties.

Ms. Estis was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and moved to the Hudson Valley in 1989. She has a background in Corporate and Tax Law having been a Tax Law Editor for a major publisher and attorney practice system developer.
